Our principal designer "Lawrence Winterburn",  is one of the originators of what we call the modern pergola. We have been outdoor woodwork specialists for about 20 years and have designed and constructed many large structures of note over the years. We design them with an eye to structure as well as aesthetics. We believe that if you are going to spend your hard earned money on an outdoor structure it should last many years and be easy to maintain. We do not work in composites because they are not structural and we cannot guarantee longevity. Pergolas are also known as trellises, arbors, arbours and vertical structures.
