Is it an arbor or an arbour?  Is it a trellis?  Is it a pergola? 

If it is a small walk through or sitting structure we often refer to it as an arbor or arbour. Generally in the Southern US it is an arbor or a trellis. In the northern regions of the US and Canada it is an Arbour. Either spelling is a semi covered walkway entrance to a yard that often is enlarged to house benches and facilitates training of plants over top for more shade in the summer.  If it is a larger structure that has 5 or more posts it is likely what we call a pergola--so put your curser over the drop down list above and click pergola instead.
